Type of management contract

The contract signed is a short-term rental management agreement, setting out the terms and conditions for managing your property. It also includes the documents required to manage your property.

Management rates

Management fees amount to 20% (excl. VAT) of the monthly rent, and exclude cleaning and laundry costs (paid by travelers).

Calculating household expenses

Housekeeping costs are determined by the size of the accommodation and the number of rooms, beds and bathroom facilities. These charges are added to the price of the reservation.

These fees are paid directly to the concierge along with the rent and laundry charges, and are remitted to the concierge at the end of each month along with an itemized invoice.

Why do we pay the full cost of cleaning and laundry?

Sweethome Conciergerie is responsible for all cleaning and laundry costs.

Travelers pay a precisely calculated amount to cover these costs.

Rental of principal residence

You can rent out your main residence for up to 120 days a year in France, and up to 90 days in Luxembourg (you'll need to pass the Chamber of Commerce's “Accès réglementé aux professions de l'HoReCa” course to exceed 90 nights).

Managing foreign travelers

The booking platforms check the identity of each traveler. What's more, software is used to fill in the police form, which is mandatory for foreign nationals.

Key handover process

Travelers receive a temporary link to an online guide, which remains accessible throughout their stay.

The guide includes :

  • Instructions for independent access to housing,
  • Instructions for independent access to housing,
  • Wi-Fi information and support contacts,
  • Departure instructions, available the day before.
  • Images and videos accompany each step to simplify the traveler's experience.
